Growing Media and Light Requirements

Try to keep the media for Anthurium Silver Blush moist, not wet. The media suitable for this plant is using manure, humus andam, raw husks and cocovid. It can be mixed with 20 percent of soil. The soil stimulates good root growth, but don't get it too wet or it will rot the roots. This plant is not very compatible with direct sunlight. Use a sun filter or paranet to avoid direct sunlight on this plant because it will damage the leaves which cause yellowing, wilting and death.

Water Requirements

Anthurium Silver Blush loves to be watered down. They have a native habitat in tropical forests which are filled with humidity. Ideally, this plant can be watered once a week. However, when the weather is hot, you can water this plant twice a week. Make sure about 5 to 8 centimeters of the top of the soil is dry when you water it. The trick, simply stick your finger to check the soil moisture. If the soil is still wet, don't water the plants first. This can minimize the possibility of root rot.
